A native of Chattanooga, TN, TJ Ojehomon is a graduate of Lipscomb University (Nashville) with a bachelor’s degree in Public Communication and Leadership. He has been an impactful community advocate within Nashville’s small business and real estate community. TJ began his professional career in banking and financial services. In 2014, he worked as a concierge banker with Avenue Bank, where he was present during Avenue’s $1B asset evaluation and ranking as one of the top small banking institutions in the nation. TJ moved to Fifth Third Bank in 2015 where he served as a financial center manager, leading the banking center to generate over $1MM in gross revenue, prior to his transition into real estate. In his initial role within the real estate industry, he served as the Director of Business Development and licensed affiliate broker for a top real estate management firm in Nashville where he led the charge to more than double the company’s management portfolio by over $65 million of assets under management. His efforts added over 175+ client relationships and properties in just under 2 years. He specializes in home buyer coaching and sales, and also residential investment real estate.
TJ has a passion for leading educational workshops, financial literacy coaching, and mentorship. He is the founder and former Executive Director of a college student mentorship program called Project Purpose, specializing in mentoring students in the areas of life skills, personal development, career readiness, and financial literacy. The organization helped prepare and train over 200 aspiring young professionals. Certified as a master financial coach through Ramsey Solutions, he also partners with universities to teach and coach financial literacy in his community and to young and aspiring professionals. TJ attends the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, where he serves in several capacities, including being a leader within the college ministry. TJ’s overwhelming passion for real estate has led him to help dozens of clients buy and sell homes in the Tennessee market. From coaching to savings strategies, lending processes and contract execution, he often meets the needs of anyone who has the passion to own property. As an experienced networker, TJ also has partnerships with several other vendors including credit counselors, commercial real estate specialists, property managers, general contractors and more.
